Needed a list to go to the store,
just tore it up and bought even more.
Needed a home to house just a few,
bought me a castle just for the view.
Needed a car to get me around,
bought me a bus – better hands down.
Needed a watch to tell me the time,
bought me a Rolex – not on my dime.
Who is this body that spends oh so much,
but never their funds do they most likely touch.
No one is spending – exceeding their heads,
like our duly elected government feds.
