Our

“Our” – the word – at least takes two, in everything you say or do.  Some might say it’s just like “we”, commitment, yes, is still the key. “Our” takes work and that’s for sure, combining words like “mine” and “your.” “Our” is prime in it’s affect, when it’s combined with true “respect.”

My Pal and Me

Went out for the day – took my Cheetah along, my pal and me just seem to belong. Posed by the flowers so pretty are they, then to the backyard so we could just play. After a while we two were quite spent, so off to get pizza together we went. Was great to be … Read moreMy Pal and Me

Melting

Eye lids drooping – nose hairs growing, stomach falling – age spots showing. Hair receding – stream now slowing. ankles swelling – wrinkles flowing. Damn if it ain’t creeped on me, not much I can do to flee, the rays like just on “Frosty” pelting, perhaps like him I’m just plain melting?

The Chiefs won again – the only one left, and I know the reason why they are so deft. It isn’t the linemen so beefy and mean, it isn’t the decibels that the crowds scream. It isn’t the game plan though smart it might be, it isn’t that field goal they kick without tee. Their … Read moreGreat Lucky Charm

Just for Me

A lapse in time since my last rhyme, the bells for rhyme just did not chime. So now I sit composing wit, but pegs and holes don’t seem to fit. Do others read this site – not much, imaginations it don’t touch. As wings they serve upon a bee, I’ll keep rhyming just for me. … Read moreJust for Me
