Fall Leaves

The leaves of green they come in Spring, life is good and songbirds sing. Summer leaves sure have it made, lemonade out in the shade. For Winter leaves they take a nap, while snow is on the weather map. Fall leaves drop like freakin’ fountains, makes me rake huge leafin’ mountains.

Two Squirrels

Two squirrels sitting on our deck, might seem sweet but wait a sec, they chew the wood – they make a mess, they are a pain – we must confess. They scold us some when we are out, but it’s our deck – what’s that about? When they’re around they’re clearly talky, and you can … Read moreTwo Squirrels

The End

A Carriage Ride

Nothing like a carriage ride, though the Christmas night we glide. Lights a glitter all around, Plaza is a site renowned. Bundled up we are not cold, extra blankets on we hold. Photo taken marks the way, that we spent our Christmas day.

Drinking Beer

There was a time when drinking beer, is what I craved and held so dear. I’d party well into the night, and sometimes ’til the morning’s light. But now I’m pushing seventy, and memories flow steadily. I wonder after all these years, why I threw back all those beers?
