“Dog People” are strange – I know for a fact,
by the way that they speak and the way that they act.
They take them for rides in buggies and cars,
they take them to shops and even to bars.
They take them to places to have their nails done,
throw Frisbee’s and balls so they can have fun.
They let them take over the beds where they sleep,
they buy them dog treats and things that aren’t cheap.
We do that and more as our dog takes it all,
when our granddaughter loads her with stuff big and small.
