Even thought was Just a Teen,
most Stunning Babe I’d ever Seen!!!!
Built up Courage – Asked her Out,
turn Down Flat – was No Doubt.
Worked on Grit – Still with Fears,
asked Again in Two Whole Years.
Things looked Up until Date Day,
“Can’t go Out” was All she’d Say.
Crushed don’t Cover what I Felt,
Losers Hand I had been Dealt.
Senior Year ran into Her,
asked Again my Hopes were Pure.
She said “YES” and Kept the Date,
from there History we’d Create.
I just Couldn’t ask for More,
we’ve been Married Fifty-four.
