It’s given out Freely – a Basic some Say,
To others We deal With and meet Day to Day.
Not legally Binding at Least I am Told,
It’s value I feel is Worth more than Gold.
Some do Abuse it for Personal Gain,
others profess It – yet Use it in Vain.
It comes Down to Honor what Person are You,
when Speaking with Others what Words do you Spew?
A foe in Disguise or valuable Friend,
“Your Word” meaning Zero or Kept ’til the End?
